STEVE is available at no cost for iPhones through the App Store and Androids through Google Play. Job Posters can access STEVE via www.stevefindsjobs.com where you will be taken through a sign up process.

How much does it cost to use STEVE?
There are no upfront fees to join or use STEVE, and no fees for Service Providers. We believe transparency is the best way to build a trusted business so you will see a full cost breakdown before you confirm the booking via the app.
How much can I expect to be paid?
The majority of jobs are part time, one off jobs and pay rates should reflect the nature of the role.
Minimum wage guide.
Under 16 years - There is no minimum wage. Over 16 years - $22.70 per hour before tax. Independent contractors are not paid hourly and are paid to complete a task - i.e. $30 to mow the lawn, irrespective of time taken. Minimum rates should act as a guide. The pay rate decided upon is a private agreement, this advice is intended as a general guide and if in doubt, it is up to you to ensure that the employment situation is correct.
How can I get my account deleted?

How does STEVE keep everyone safe?
Anyone under the age of 16 needs to confirm they have their parents permission and are being overseen by their parents before they can register. There are no personal details displayed on the site (phone/ email/ last name/ addresses). Personal information is only disclosed to registered parties when a job is confirmed. Contact can only be made through the website and app. When a job connection is made a workplace address must be given. We aim to provide a safe platform, while still allowing enough transfer of information to enable STEVE to help find jobs.
Contracts and Recruitment
What do you do with my personal information?
STEVE does not keep, or have access to any personal information entered into the app.
Am I signing a contract with STEVE?
No. However, for regular employment positions, an individual employment contract will need to be signed by both parties. For domestic / one off jobs an independent contractor would be the typical employment category. For contractors, no employment contract is needed.
How is STEVE different from a recruitment firm?
There are several differences between STEVE and a traditional recruitment firm. First, STEVE is a technology platform that automates the matching of independent contractors with job offers. Our algorithm performs these matches by optimising skill capabilities. This means you get the staff you want, when you want, without the cost and contractual obligations associated with traditional recruitment. Secondly, a recruitment firm generally hires and becomes the employer for their temp staff. What this means to you is that STEVE service providers are likely more focused on gig work, which often includes supporting multiple clients at any given time. As independent contractors, they are responsible for their own benefits, taxes and more, which hopefully enables you to be more nimble and cost effective in your business.
